Help Save Live Music
Do you enjoy live music and find the venues catering for this are ever decreasing in Adelaide?
Make your opinion heard and tell your local council that you want to encourage live and local performers in appropriate venues, at respectful times. A compromise should be acheivable, so that residents and music lovers can all enjoy what their local venues have to offer. At the moment the argument is very one sided, prohibiting many venues from trying to make the most of what South Australian musical talent can bring to their business and to the community. By making people aware of this issue we hope that more people will voice their own opinions, so the majority will be able to create the community they wish to be a part of.
Our suburb of Henley Beach is part of the Charles Sturt City Council and if you do have an opinion you want heard you can contact them by: phone- 8 408 1111
fax- 8 408 1122
mail- 72 Woodville Road, Woodville 5011

Bacchus will also be circulating a petition to see how much local support we can summon on this topic, so come down and sign to help us in our plight. If you dont live in a suburb that is represented by Charles Sturt City, please contact your own local council and HELP SAVE LIVE MUSIC.

To all our patrons, due to recent issues with Liqueur Licensing, Bacchus must ensure that this venue is within its licensed capacity for the venue. This may mean when we have reached capacity, that patrons may be expected to wait outside the venue until other patrons permanently leave the premises. We do apoligise for any inconvience this may cause but this is the law and we must abide. If you have any issues or concerns please take up with security or staff members. We ask for your patience and thank you for your on-going support.
